Pool Openings
This service consists of: removing cover, folding cover, (cover to be left at pool side for storage by customer) reinstallation of handrails, ladder, diving board, etc., start up of filter system and checking for leaks in system. Water level must be to the middle of the skimmer upon arrival of the service technicians. The system cannot be started up if the water is not to the proper level. Should we have to go back to restart the system, there will be a $95.00 service call charged. (This can be achieved by inserting a garden hose in the skimmer and watching the water level.) Vacuuming is the customer’s responsibility. Two (2) gallons of liquid chlorine will be added to chlorine pools only. Biguanide customers are responsible for add chemicals. Suggestion: Please allow pool to circulate for 24 hours prior to having your water tested.
Pool cover must be drained of all water and free of any debris, i.e., leaves, branches. Should Buena Vista Pools & Spas, Inc. arrive at pool site and there is water on the cover, the pool opening will be rescheduled at our convenience, as a certain amount of time has been set aside in the scheduling for each customer. All equipment, i.e., handrails, ladder, diving board, must be by the poolside. Please make sure that power at poolside has been turned on and that there is a garden hose by the poolside. Should Service Department have to reschedule for any reason, there will be a $25.00 service call charge.
