Pool Closings
This service consists of: Installing the cover, removing ladder, handrails, blowing out of all lines with air and installing plugs and gizzmos. Winter Shock is added to Chlorine pools only. It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that pools are dear, clean and at proper chemical levels before the pool is closed.
Plugs and gizzmos are not included in the Closing cost. If you have them, please be sure to have them by the poolside for the service technicians. If they are not available at the time of the scheduled appointment, the Closing will either be rescheduled at our convenience or the service technicians will bill you separately for these items.
NO CHEMICALS WILL BE ADDED TO BIGUANIDE SWIMMING POOLS. PLEASE INDICATE ON THIS FORM IF YOU ARE USING BIGUANIDE.
If you have a timer, both trippers HAVE TO BE REMOVED PRIOR TO THE DAY OF THE CLOSING. If these trippers are not removed, there is a possibility of the system going on and running dry. This will cause damage to the system. We are NOT responsible for any damage occurring to the system if the trippers are not removed.
Should Service Department have to reschedule for any reason, there will be a $95.00 service call charge.
We recommend a filter cleaning (D.E. FILTERS) be done at the end of the season. This will insure proper performance of the filter in the Spring. Please inform us ahead of time if you would like this service, so that we may allow the proper amount of time.
Pool owners taking out the contract for Closing/Opening will have priority in choosing a date for the Opening.
It is recommended that all customers with solid covers purchase cover pumps to remove the water that accumulates on top of the cover over the winter months. This will prevent the cover from falling into the swimming pool over the winter months.
